With over 10,000 video systems under management worldwide - more than any other video communications service provider - Yorktel has the proven expertise and global reach to deliver enterprise-quality visual communications.Yorktel is currently seeking an Operations Financial Analyst / Lead Project Coordinator who will be a member of the Project Management Office within York Telecom Corporation. The Operations Financial Analyst / Lead Project Coordinator will apply his or her financial skills, management skills, office knowledge, experience, interpersonal skills and administrative techniques to support the project coordinator team. The Operations Financial Analyst / Lead Project Coordinator is responsible for management, mentoring and training their assigned team of Project Coordinators per the Yorktel Operations Runbook. Further, they will be measured on the adherence to PMO best practices of their respective teams.Roles & Responsibilities:Responsible for financial standardized reporting (internal and external) for all Operations ProjectsLead for all Project Coordinators, ensuring all coordinators are properly trained and completing their tasks timelyWork in close coordination with each of the PMO Project Managers, Director of Project Management, and the Financial Team MembersUnderstanding of concepts for services and management of key operational metrics such as priority, project health, deliverable achievement, commitments (financial and operational), client profitability, and capacity modelsWeekly reporting of project profitability to Director of Project Management and EVP of Global Experience, communicating status, progress on revenue and gross profit, and identifying any risks in not meeting targetsCommunicate project issues to the Controller and Staff Accountants as directed by the Director of Project ManagementMaintain focus on key operational metrics such as timely invoicing, including appropriate shipping, change order entries/invoicing, and month-to-month or quarter-to-quarter forecast date trackingTrack active/closed projects and forecast dates weekly in Management Dashboards (PowerBi/Smartsheets)Set up project invoicing per milestones established in the statement of work or agreed-upon master service agreement at the quote stage, audit freight carrier invoices, and assist the team with project closure tasksAt project completion, assist the PM in handing over project completion to the Yorktel CSM (Customer Success Manager) and Service Desk leadership to maintain the room assets over the contracted maintenance periodRegularly communicate answers to complex questions and respond to detailed inquiries about forecast dates, revenue recognition, and project closureHandle and protect all internal confidential information, using discretion and judgment based on company policies and proceduresAudit forecast dates two to three times per week through collaboration with Yorktel Project ManagersExecute project closure per Yorktel Project Manager requests, including resolution with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Logistics on error messages that may occur during the closure tool processAudit Project Manager work lists to update status for all INT and INM projectsAudit AT RISK projects for new/updated purchase orders (weekly)Effective communication with presentation and written skillsExcellent personal and interpersonal skills in relating to others and managing diverse relationshipsAttend Weekly Internal PMO meetings and other associated forecast/revenue calls as neededTransfer information to the timesheet approvals, time off approvals, and expense approvalsProvide escalation oversight and support for their assigned teamProvide financial and project status progress reporting to the Lead Project Manager, Project Managers, and the Sr. Director of the PMOProvide training plans and recommendations for PC Team MembersMentor Project Coordinators to ensure that projects/tasks are completed on time and meet all business and system requirementsEnsure all Project Coordinator tasks are conducted to meet schedule, cost, and quality goalsDiscuss and prioritize project issues with the project team, and provide help/support as requiredIdentify and resolve issues/conflicts within the project teamSkills & Abilities:Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from
