Job Title: Class A CDL Driver

Job Description

As a Class A CDL Driver, you will be responsible for driving semis and stake trucks with various trailer types to load, transport, and unload industrial machinery safely and efficiently. You will assist Foremen and Apprentices with industrial machine repair activities and other general labor duties when not driving or operating equipment. You will confidently operate a variety of industrial equipment such as forklifts, man lifts, cranes, and other associated equipment.

Responsibilities

• Drive semis and stake trucks with a variety of trailer types

• Load, transport, and unload industrial machinery safely and efficiently

• Assist Foremen and Apprentices with industrial machine repair activities and other general labor duties when not driving/operating

• Operate a variety of industrial equipment such as forklifts, man lifts, cranes, and other associated equipment

Essential Skills

• Valid CDL-A License

• Valid Driver's License

• Flat-Bed Truck experience

• Ability to operate a forklift for loading/unloading

• 1+ years of tractor-trailer operation experience

• Valid CDL-A endorsement with air brakes and DOT medical card

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in or willingness to learn rigging

• Ability to load, transport, and unload machinery and equipment

• Industrial machine maintenance/repair experience (preferred)

• Experience hauling oversize (beneficial but not required)

• High School Diploma or GED

Work Environment

You will travel to construction projects throughout Michigan and the Midwest, with overnight travel required.

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $75000.00
