Job Title: Sr. Production Project Manager

Job Description

• Support the commercial projects group by managing all phases of the project life cycle, from receipt of purchase order through system commissioning. • Communicate technical document packages with vendors and customers. Document packages include equipment specifications, material cut sheets, relevant project drawings, and equipment operation and maintenance manuals. • Collaborate with Fabrication Engineering and the design team to ensure the design meets customer specifications and needs. • Oversee project scope of supply and develop project equipment lists and bills of materials (BOMs). • Develop a detailed project schedule and monitor progress during execution. • Provide project updates to various stakeholders. Serve as a liaison between customer and operations team. • Collaborate daily with production, purchasing, and production planning departments to ensure that all projects remain on schedule and within budget. • Responsible for occasional travel to customer and vendor meetings, site meetings, and start-up training - representing the operations leadership team.

Hard Skills

  • Coordinating production and fabrication internally and external vendor management

  • Experience working in a manufacturing facility

  • Proven problem solver who is detail-oriented

  • Experience with MS Office products, including Word and Excel

  • Experience using enterprise resource management (ERP) software

Soft Skills

  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Walker, Louisiana.

Work Environment

Industrial warehouse with office. Cranes, mechanical and electrical installation shop in the back. Blasting booth coming soon. Site built for expansion. Uses vendors until site expansion is complete. Will still leverage relationships and continue to keep some vendors around after site is expanded.
