We serve as a flex plant and are able to produce everything from a whole pasteurized egg to liquid, dried, hardboiled and curds.

Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Operators are responsible for monitoring and maintaining machine operations to ensure efficiency and product quality. They perform regular checks on egg temperatures, machine speeds, tank levels, and identify any leaks. This role involves accurate documentation of data and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct quality checks on incoming raw eggs and finished products. Monitor product quality through hourly checks. Ensure machines operate within specified parameters (temperature, speed, tank levels) and address any issues promptly. Make minor adjustments to equipment and troubleshoot problems as they arise. Communicate equipment and product issues to management and maintenance teams. Maintain proper storage and labeling of packaging materials. Operate forklifts and pallet jacks as needed. Keep work area and equipment clean using sanitation procedures. Perform equipment changeovers and various quality checks (chemical, temperature). Assist in operations such as Fallas, sample pulling, and record-keeping. Program and report data readings per HACCP requirements. Understand and implement cross-contamination mitigation and operational procedures. Completing die, printer, and Bergmier counter changeovers. Performing Acetic acid bath temperature, chemical, and Vortexx checks. Checking CO2 and O2 levels on product bags. Providing breaks to line employees as needed. Effectively communicating with operators to manage egg flows. Mixing brine solution according to specifications and preparing coating paint. Following and executing wax filling procedures accurately. Conducting manual packaging, sanitizer chemical checks, belt sprayer checks, hand dip checks, and promptly reporting any issues identified. Qualifications Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Basic computer skills and ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English. Prior manufacturing experience preferred; ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical issues. Capability to obtain and maintain a company pallet jack and forklift license. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks in varied environments. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently or in a team. Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and overtime. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. Capable of working in varied environmental conditions including cold, wet, noisy, dusty, and humid settings. Comfortable working around necessary cleaning solutions. Demonstrates strong hand-eye coordination. Proficient in troubleshooting minor mechanical issues. Skilled in working independently or collaboratively within a team, adapting as needed for different tasks. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices). Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
