Parkview North Hospital OP Therapy Access Rep in Wabash, Indiana
Summary: Responsible for providing exceptional customer service, patient registration, insurance verification, and scheduling for multiple providers in a fast-paced environment. Manages phone inquiries, coordinates therapy visits and testing, and ensures accurate patient and insurance information. Facilitates communication between physician offices, patients, and ancillary departments while following scheduling protocols. Ensures proper documentation and pre-certifications are completed, supporting efficient and high-quality patient care. Adheres to Parkview Health’s Standards of Behavior, delivering service excellence. Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Medical terminology knowledge preferred.
Experience: Minimum of two years in a medical office, call center, customer service, or clerical setting preferred.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in general computer use, internet navigation, and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong keyboarding skills and ability to operate multi-line phones and standard office equipment.
Communication & Organizational Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Professional telephone etiquette.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail.
Professionalism:
Must be adaptable, creative, and forward-thinking when faced with challenges.
