Pay Rate: $40 - $85 per hour / $83,000 - $177,000 per year

Ops Tech Alliance (OTA) is a leading provider of cybersecurity solutions dedicated to protecting critical infrastructure and sensitive data. We are seeking an experienced Web Content Developer to create, update, and maintain content on our website and other digital platforms. You will work closely with the communications and technical teams to ensure all content is accurate, engaging, and aligns with the contract requirements. Your key responsibilities will also include maintaining and updating various event-specific websites and repositories. Part-time opportunities are available with this position.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, edit, and publish web content related to the President's Cup, including announcements, updates, competition details, and results.

  • Maintain and update the President’s Cup websites (including competition sites and GitHub repositories. This includes details such as registration information, rules, frequently asked questions, instructional videos, help desk hours, and more.

  • Make edits to the sites and content throughout the competition as needed and directed.

  • Collaborate with graphic designers, video producers, and other team members to create multimedia content.

  • Ensure all content is optimized for search engines (SEO) and follows best practices for web accessibility.

  • Monitor web traffic and user engagement, providing regular reports and insights to improve content strategy.

  • Manage the content calendar and ensure timely updates.

  • Conduct regular reviews and audits of existing content to ensure accuracy and relevance.

  • Assist with social media content

  • Provide support for live event coverage, including live blogging and real-time updates.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Web Development, or a related field. Relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in web content development, preferably in a government or cybersecurity context.

  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with an attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and content management systems.

  • Experience with SEO best practices and web analytics tools.

  • Familiarity with web accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with graphic design and multimedia content creation.

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and terminology.

  • Previous experience working with government agencies or in a regulated industry.
