Context/Scope *:  * Directly responsible for the overall performance of the RTD Warehouse and processing on days or nights. The role requires quick decision-making capabilities that will have impact to schedule adherence, safety, quality and leading multiple priorities across the warehouses on a shift. This role leads +10 Processing and Warehouse Team Members (Shipping/Receiving Desk Leads and Forklift Drivers). 

Outputs

·       Zero LTA’s 

·       Ensure materials are staged for the next 24 hrs 

·       Optimize traffic through the Yard Management System 

·       SAP inventory reconciliation for Materials and Finished Goods 

·       TECO process orders 

·       Ensure the right training is provided to the Warehouse Team Members. 

·       Deliver daily on 5S methodology, responsible for Food safety and ISO programs  

·       Deliver DPL targets according to schedules 

Purpose of Role:

·       Responsible for leading the day-to-day production requirements across the processing area, including daily processing planning, safety, quality, coordinating staffing assignments, safety activities and departmental budget activities. 

·       Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and carrying out program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.  

·       Provide business leadership to ensure that team meets or exceeds Supply Excellence critical metrics.  

·       Provide relevant training and development opportunities for the continued growth of the employee and team as a whole.   

·       Follows federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; making sure adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions. 

·       Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.  

·       A positive, energetic, and enthusiastic team member that demonstrates leadership by example in all aspects of operations as a whole.   

·       Drive continuous improvement and total employee engagement in critical success areas by empowering employees to use Supply Excellence tools and techniques. 

*Key Outputs: *

·       Supervisory responsibilities are in accordance with company policy and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding, and motivating employees; addressing complaints, resolving conflict, solving problems, scheduling vacations, and verifying payroll sheets. 

·       Direct the planning and implementation of key initiatives to support the department such as GMP/ ISO/ HACCP/CARM Compliance/ 5S. Is an ambassador for safety, compliance, and quality.  

·       Support all safety and food safety audits. Responsible for all corrective action items are completed and all packaging workers understand the goals. 

·        

·       Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system. 

·       Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.  

·       Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.  

·       Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees. 

·       Maintains warehouse staff job results by rewarding, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees. 

·       Responsible for SAP Materials and Finished Goods reconciliations, scheduling vacations, and verifying payroll sheets. 

·       Ensure efficient production and warehouse operations are achieved and standards are met. Optimize safety, quality, food safety, 5s, and cost objectives through employee involvement and team building approach to root cause problem solving and continuous improvement. 

·       Ensure production databases are properly maintained and information used for continuous.  

·       Generate ideas and implement changes in processes and use of equipment to increase efficiency, improve safety and quality, reduce costs, and improve employee morale. 

·       Builds and maintains relationships that motivate, guide, and/or reinforce the breakthrough performance of others toward goal accomplishments. Develops self and others to improve performance in current role and to prepare for future roles; seeks and provides feedback and coaching to enhance performance. 

Qualifications and Experience Required:

·       Bachelors in Business, Supply Chain or Engineering/ Food Science or Food Engineering background 

·       3-5+ years of supervisory experience in Logistics, Warehouse or Operations preferably in a best-in-class manufacturing environment with GMPs and/or a highly regulated best in class industry or an equivalent of experience including education. 

·       Demonstrated ability to provide leadership, direct change and build trust and credibility amongst peers and direct reports. 

·       Knowledge of TTB and State regulations pertaining to the production of alcohol beverages is a plus. 

·       Proficient with PCs and Microsoft Office 

·       Ability to work with minimal supervision and complete complex tasks under deadlines. 

·       Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills
