Description

The James Benjamin Department of Accounting at Mays Business School, Texas A&M University, invites applications for one full-time, tenured or tenure-track position with a 9-month academic appointment beginning Fall 2025. Applicants will be considered for the faculty titles of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor depending on qualifications.

The successful candidate is expected to teach graduate and undergraduate classes, conduct scholarly research, and work with PhD students. Other service expectations are commensurate with the position level and will include service on doctoral committees, departmental promotion/tenure and recruiting committees, and professional service to the field.

Qualifications

Applicants hired must have a doctoral degree in hand by date of hire, a demonstrated ability to publish in leading scholarly journals, a commitment to teaching excellence, and a strong interest in working with doctoral students.
