The most important aspects of the Supply Chain Manager role is to oversee the supply chain process from procurement to inventory management stage. He will be responsible to coordinate and manage the flow of goods and services from supplies to customers, ensuring that the right products are delivered at the right time and at the right cost.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that all KPIs related to savings are measured, reported and monitored within the business to achieve the benefits and outcomes included in the P&L.

  • To ensure that all Procurement KPIs are managed according to the budget provided (PPM, OFR, reduction of production times, reduction of the number of suppliers, DPO, etc.).

  • Generating indirect savings and improve services, according to the approved plans.

  • Ensuring that internal, EMEIA and Group reports are drawn up and submitted acoording to requirements.

  • Working closely with the Strategic Sourcing team to ensure that the supplier base for AARO ensures maximum results in terms of service and continuity.

  • To ensure that supply times and performance of supply providers, as well as their service levels, are continuously improved, according to the approved KPIs.

  • Checking and proposing contracts to the partner suppliers.

  • Creating a clear Procurement strategy for the company and ensuring that plans are implemented throughout the Procurement organization.

  • To develop, use and utilize advanced negotiation techniques (cost analysis, cost breakdown analysis, VE/VA, low cost production, etc).

  • To proactively identify, manage and monitor costs and service improvement projects and ensure they are clearly presented within the business.

  • Working with the Product Development, Engineering and Finance departments to ensure the continuous on the processes occur.

  • To ensure that suppliers comply with ASSA ABLOY's sustainability and ethics policies and to report according to the KPI standard.

  • Managing the daily work and individual performance of each member of the team (procurement, logistic and planning) and ensuring that financial and strategic objectives are met.

  • Transportation Management: Oversee the transportation of goods, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.

  • Warehousing: Manage warehouse operations, including storage, retrieval, and distribution of products.

  • Stock Control: Implement inventory control systems to maintain optimal stock levels, reducing excess inventory and minimizing stockouts.

  • Inventory Audits: Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.

  • Demand Forecasting: Utilize historical data and market trends to forecast demand and plan inventory accordingly .

  • Forecasting and Planning: Work closely with production and finance teams to align supply chain activities with business forecasts.

  • Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP): Lead S&OP meetings to review forecasts, inventory levels, and production plans.

  • Capacity Planning: Plan for capacity requirements to ensure the supply chain can meet demand fluctuations.

  • Plays a crucial role in the planning process that aligns demand, supply, and financial planning, in order to support executive decision-making

    Project Management, Sales and Operations Planning Strong negotiation skills Integrated management systems (Axapta is an advantage) Microsoft suite (Word, Excel - advanced) Advanced English language – mandatory Technical knowledge Capacity for analysis and synthesis,

    Studies: University degree- bachelor’s degree; master degree would be a plus

    Experience: Minimum 10 years previous experience in similar positions
