Job Description

The Parking Services Supervisor, under general supervision, supervises daily operation of assigned department area and assists the Manager of Parking Services with administrative duties.

This position may pay more than the salary listed above depending on the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Serves as an information resource for university employees, students, and visitors with regard to parking regulations, directions, and other information.

  • Maintains the functioning of T2 system, and other platforms in Parking Services.

  • Provides access to operational control of department functions of the T2 platform to new employees.

  • Coordinates shift operational requirements, including determining and assigning tasks.

  • Provides administrative assistance in the preparation of maps, rules, regulations, operational reports, and other materials.

  • Provide vital information during event preparation for all the lots utilized.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Six years of related experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

  • Ability to comprehend technical aspects of electronic data terminals and ticket writers, telephone systems, video monitors, computer systems and Special Controlled Access Network electronic and mechanical systems.

Registrations, Certifications, and Licenses:

  • Must be able to obtain State of Texas class “C” vehicle operator’s license within 30 days of employment. Inability to obtain State of Texas class “C” vehicle operator’s license may result in termination.

Other Requirements:

  • May work rotating shifts.
