Job Description
Job Summary
The Student Teacher Supervisor under general supervision is responsible for evaluating the performance of teacher candidates in the assigned schools in local and surrounding communities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Evaluating the performance of teacher candidates in the classroom setting of local and surrounding areas.
Completing a minimum of four, formal classroom evaluations.
Developing model lessons as needed.
Participating in and/or conducting seminars.
Attending department or College meetings required by the Department, Chair or Dean.
Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements
Education – Master’s degree
Experience – Five years of experience in classroom teaching and/or administrative.
Current certification in the class in which supervision is provided.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Critical analytical skills in order to provide constructive feedback and assess the candidates’ performance in the field.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to conduct face-to-face, online, and verbal presentations.
Ability to communicate technical information and instructions to a diverse audience.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work independently once given a project.
Licensing / Professional Certification – Current Texas Teaching Certification

Must be able to provide own form of transportation to be used to travel to assigned schools.
Position requires on campus, face-to-face interactions.
Position requires maintaining a regular schedule of attendance on campus and in the workplace.
Pay of Rate: $16.00/hour for up to 19 hours
