Atlas Travel & Technology Group Sr. Program Manager / Account Manager in United States

This position reports to: Vice President, Program Management

The primary role of the Sr. Program Manager / Account Manager is to manage a portfolio of midsize to large market accounts. The position is focused on achieving a high level of client retention, increasing profitability, and strengthening client relationships within a portfolio of Business Travel accounts. The Sr. Program Manager / Account Manager’s role is to grow and increase revenue through exceptional relationship management and consultative skills, ability to understand client needs and identify innovative solutions

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Proactively identify new opportunities and deliver strategic solutions

  • Develop understanding of key business drivers and company culture for customer focused solutions

  • Collaborate with clients in-person on business planning, quarterly analysis, bi-annual and annual reviews, and supplier negotiation support

  • Enhance value proposition through policy consultation, benchmarking, technology road mapping, and optimizing online solutions

  • Show Return on Investment in travel through increased cost savings, outstanding customer service and greater control of spend

  • Promote client growth with Atlas products and services (Meetings & Incentives, Vacation Travel, etc.)

  • Provide Business Intelligence through delivery of suite of reports that is timely and reliable in support of the client’s goals, guidance on travel-related cost savings opportunities, project scoping, program monitoring and trend analysis, and other responsibilities, as required for the client’s Travel Management Program.

  • Facilitate Implementation process, liaise for internal departments, a communication focal point and manage terms of service level agreements

  • Communicate current Industry events, forecasts, vendor updates and security alerts

  • Support of internal/external projects as required

  • Must be able to Drive & Travel

  • Must be located in the New England area

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

  • Travel Industry experience preferred but not required

  • 3+ years of customer service and/or sales experience

PC Skills:

General working knowledge of the following: Internet searching, MS Office (e.g. MS Word, Excel, Power point), MS Outlook, CRM tool.

Language Skills:

Ability, to communicate in standard business English both written and spoken. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one, small group situations to customer, clients and other employees of the organization.

Travel (for positions requiring travel):
