Sr. IT Robotics Process Automation Developer

Job Description:

Translate moderately complex and varied business needs into business process automation application requirements. Share production support of bots with team members, including on-call for critical processes. Recommend improvements and help set future direction of the Robotics Process Automation (RPA) program. Define the functionality, usability, reliability, performance and support requirements for RPA applications as a business subject matter expert. Assess process needs for RPA, delivering innovative automations, automation analysis, solution design, and automation development and deployment. Participate in RPA requirements definition and design. Develop, test, train and implement according to industry best practices. Support products after implementation. Complete development, testing, and leveraging of RPA processes, including periodic validations with process owners, and end-to-end business validation upon completion of development effort. Create a solution design to solve complex problems. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and remediate RPA related technical issues, coordinating with other IT teams as required. Act as a liaison between RPA Developers and various business units.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Three (3) years of Robotics Process Automation (RPA) development experience using the Automation Anywhere Suite and associated RPA applications. Must hold an active Automation Anywhere Certified Advanced Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Professional certification. Other experience and skills must include:

  • Using RPA applications to develop, test/quality assure, debug, deploy, enhance, monitor, respond to disruptions, and administrate, including upgrading and managing Automation Anywhere platform and associated elements such as SSL Certificates and licensing.

  • Assessing feasibility and applicability of business requests for RPA applications, analyzing approved RPA project business requirements, and translating into technical deliverables.

  • Developing and maintaining RPA program documentation.

  • .NET Framework, C#, SQL Server, HTML, XML, Visual Studio, VB Script, and JavaScript.
