Summary and Objectives:

MKS is hiring a Project Lifecycle Leader for Finance IT to oversee the conception, implementation and analysis of internal initiatives. The successful candidate will have a background in both business and IT and will have an extensive understanding of the Finance and Accounting technology landscape (SAP, Oracle, HFM, etc.) and report into our Business Technology Group.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Leads efforts throughout project lifecycle to understand, plan, and drive IT initiatives tied to business strategies with specific business outcomes, and will be accountable for project deadlines/schedules, scope, OCM, Metrics and budgets

• Initiates and manages through to completion new acquisitions movement of finance, accounting tax etc.

• Working together with diverse teams in a matrix environment within IT and the Business to drive project completion, and providing project and/or sprint plans, status reports, stakeholder analysis, issues, risks and mitigation, training documentation, etc

• Manages vendor relationships associated with initiatives, assuring deliverables are met per contract specifications, and budgets are tightly managed, throughout a project lifecycle

• Facilitate request for information (RFI) and/or request for proposal (RFP) process for initiatives with business and IT teams, facilitate selection of the right solution to achieve business outcomes

• Develops thorough understanding of business outcomes expected from initiatives, ensures delivery of expected outcomes

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration discipline or equivalent work experience, required

• 5+years’ experience in project management in a technical (IT) environment, following industry standard practices

• Demonstrated ability to consistently complete projects according to outlined scope, budget and timeline

• Strong consulting skills; Customer-oriented approach in managing communications, issues and risks, and able to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure, High level of initiative and ownership, bold and confident attitude towards challenges; Demonstrated leadership skills

• Understanding of business applications such as ERP Systems (Oracle and SAP)

• Understanding of Service Now, Jira or other project-specific tracking tools

• Language required: Fluent in English

Preferred Skills:

• Oracle and SAP experience

• Certifications such as PMI-PMP, Prince, SAFe, etc.

• Position can be hybrid – 3 days in office, 2 days remote
