We are looking for a well-rounded and passionate Junior SQL Database Administrator. The successful candidate will work within a development team environment along with other engineering staff, project managers, and business users to ensure the integrity, reliability and timeliness of production and client data processing.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with fellow engineers and managers to improve our database infrastructure.

• Provide technical support to the different collections and processing teams on the Promo Intel platform

• Write and deliver custom data queries to assist operations managers and leads understand staff efficiency

• Design data queries and analysis for custom client work

• Monitor critical jobs and maintain database backups and performance.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience in working with relational databases, systems analysis, design development and implementation.

• Experience writing T-SQL Script/Stored Procedures, User Defined Functions, CTE, indexes, cursors and views using MS SQL Server.

• Good skills in analyzing, resolving and documenting findings

• Work with Developers for query writing best practices

• Understanding of RDBMS on MS SQL Server

• Good English communication skills (written/verbal)

• Experience with version control systems (Git etc.)

Nice to Haves:

• Knowledge of database implementations in Azure or AWS

• Experience in MySQL or PostgreSQL

• Good understanding of SDLC
