Essential Functions* of the position are detailed below and include any physical requirements checked below:1. Responsible for overseeing the overall and daily maintenance and facilities operations for all Lake County work site locations; and collaborates with Lake County Regional Director to ensure efficient operations.2. Manages, monitors and/or makes repairs to the different mechanical systems and related equipment that control water, heating/ cooling, and air quality;3. Prepares annual budgets and monitors monthly financial reports to ensure that all building and maintenance costs are within alloted budget;4. Responsible for managing the bidding process for facilities-related projects and coordinates and serves as the primary liaison for outside building-related consultants, contractors, and vendors;5. Responsible for assigning work to staff and ensuring the work is performed in an efficient, prompt, professional and accurate manner and provides guidance, when necessary;6. Handles all employee complaints as well as crisis situations in consultation with his/her supervisory chain, in compliance with Agency/ Programmatic policies and procedures and treats each case with sensitivity and expedience;7. Prepares and successfully executes short and long-term plans for usage of space and capital improvements;8. Develops and maintains site floor plans detailing building tenants, square footage and shared occupancy costs; a preventative maintenance plan, including regularly evaluating systems and equipment for efficiency and cost-effectiveness, and makes the necessary recommendations to supervisory chain, as needed;9. Must maintain a flexible work schedule in order to resolve any facilities-related emergencies, attend committee meetings, and special events, as needed.10. Responsible for building safety of staff, clients and visitors; including safety trainings and drills, safety and disaster preparedness procedures, chairs the Lake County Building & Safety Council. PLEASE NOTE:* Essential functions include all other duties and responsibilities as assigned. X Kneel and move from sitting, bending, kneeling or standing multiple times a day. X Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds.X Climb up and down up to 3 flights of stairs at a time.X Lift up to 50 pounds.X Additional Requirements: Job duties may need to be performed outdoors in varying weather conditions. Must be able to reach in all directions and climb a ladder, when needed.
