Salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 annually. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop cost estimates and write proposals for assigned estimating projects.

  • Provide your specific forecasts and report project bid/estimate status.

  • Oversee multiple bids and act as liaison between estimating team and sales team.

  • Revise estimates and implement required changes.

  • Monitor and ensure bid format meets clients and BrandSafway’s standards.

  • Evaluate Customer Requests for Tender/Bid/Quotation documents.

  • Identify and learn customer requirements for bid purposes.

  • Coordinate bid inputs from all organizational disciplines.

  • Coordinate with subcontractors to receive input on pricing on labor, materials, and other costs.

  • Coordinate pre and post bid meetings as required in accordance with Schedule of Manager’s Approval.

  • Log proposals and tenders into database for historical information.

  • Perform as liaison for Project Management when tender is awarded and becomes job.

  • Review, provide feedback and evaluate performance of Estimators.

  • Coordinate and create prequalification documents as needed by the client.

  • Other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager.

  • Care for BrandSafway property and equipment as though you were responsible for replacing it. Maintain accurate records for reimbursement of true business expenditures.

  • Maintain a SAFETY FIRST mentality at all time.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in computer programs such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Ideally, 5+ years in construction related work onsite or offsite.

  • Understanding or willingness to learn Salesforce.

  • The ability to draft professional business communications between stakeholders.

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience

  • This position requires a highly motivated, self-starter who can work remotely when needed.

  • Should possess the ability to handle the daily requirements while being able to execute and communicate progress weekly

  • Operational/field experience in the construction, manufacturing, field services or other industrial environments, with a proven understanding of productivity drivers

  • Understand scheduling techniques, estimating, change management, risk management, and progress reporting methods.

  • Be able to demonstrate expert level experience on a personal computer and application software including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
