We are seeking a talented Senior Technical Business Analyst to join our Wires team as we launch and enhance a cutting-edge wire transfer product. You would work with a talented group of product owners and developers in an Agile environment, working to gather requirements and write user stories. The ideal candidate brings a strong mix of technical and functional experience, and is able to learn quickly.
This position can be based to work out of any Jack Henry office or remotely from any US location. Salary range for this position is $77-120k, depending on candidate experience and geographic location.
What you’ll be responsible for:
Gather, analyze, document, and drive business and technical requirements for projects, ensuring they align with company goals, team expectations and client needs.
Provide high quality requirements according to project plans, assignments, and timelines.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand the business needs, translate them into technical specifications, and communicate effectively with the development team.
Analyze system processes and workflows to identify requirements and delivery expectations.
Support triage of production issues, coordinating with the technical team to resolve them effectively and efficiently.
Participate actively in team ceremonies, contributing to continuous team improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and seamless project execution for successful integrations.
Regularly participate and provide high-quality, professional feedback in requirement peer review meetings.
Maintain excellent communications of assignments with your team and manager.
May perform other job duties as assigned.
What you’ll need to have:
Minimum of 6 years of experience as a business analyst, product owner/manager, or working in any combination of roles performing requirements gathering and process documentation.
Experience working in an Agile environment.
Experience in the banking, payments, or fintech industry, or working with products that process financial transactions.
Experience with APIs and/or microservices.
What would be nice for you to have:
Bachelor’s degree.
Experience with domestic or international wires.
