Mobile Communications America Senior Manager, Corporate Development in United States
MCA, your trusted advisor for wireless communications, data, and security, is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Corporate Development in the eastern or central time zone, ideally near one of MCA’s Southeast, Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, or Texas offices to support our growing Central team.
This individual is directly involved in leading new deal execution and general financial analysis, including, but not limited to, supporting growth initiatives through potential M&A transactions. This individual will lead the team in prospect evaluation, financial modeling, valuation and risk analyses, financial and business due diligence, and deal structuring. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on M&A leadership experience. The ideal candidate has previous experience in Private Equity, Corporate Development, and/or Investment Banking. They will have a combination of strong business acumen, communication skills, financial modeling proficiency, a positive work ethic, and a track record of success.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Prospect for potential new clients to increase business.
Cold calling as appropriate within your market and geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
Identifying potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.
Researching and building relationships with new clients.
Presenting new products and services to enhance existing relationships.
Working with sales representatives to develop account strategies and objectives.
Participating in the positioning of solutions/services.
Working with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
Collaborating with colleagues from other departments.
Due to the remote nature of this role, it is a requirement to document your work. (A process is provided)
End-to-end deal ownership of $1-3M EBITDA deals as part of a roll-up M&A strategy, including integration into a much larger platform business.
Perform and support financial analysis of potential acquisitions and coordination of due diligence.
Lead functional due diligence teams, including legal, finance & accounting, tax, human resources, operations, IT, sales, and strategy.
Provide support in negotiations, creation of term sheets and definitive agreements.
Oversee the development of financial projections for acquisition targets and monitor post-close deal performance vs model.
Perform various valuation analyses, including discounted cash flow, comparable and precedent transactions, as well as potential consequences.
Assist with integration, including communication with integration team and target owners, inventory count, post-closing follow-up, etc.
Present analysis and reporting to senior management on potential M&A transactions, capital structure, and strategic growth initiatives.
Provide oversight and develop Corporate Development Analyst for continued career growth as a successor to this role.
Identify and research potential acquisition opportunities through market analysis and interactions with business partners.
Ad-hoc analysis, financial modeling, and additional responsibilities as required.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM:
2+ years of business development experience in business-to-business technology solutions.
At least 3-5 years of related experience in transaction advisory, M&A, corporate development, investment banking, or consulting.
Previous experience preparing complex financial models and executive-level deal decks (strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is a must).
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with ability to communicate at all levels within an organization, with external partners, and potential targets.
Ability to work comfortably with incomplete information and deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to take the initiative and create concise and decision-supporting analysis is essential.
High degree of integrity and honesty.
Experience with business intelligence applications a plus.
Experience with enterprise systems and reporting tools a plus.
An undergraduate degree in accounting or finance is required.
Advanced graduate degree, including an MBA is a plus.
30 - 50% travel. Some overnight travel is expected.
