POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Financial Analyst position will provide a unique opportunity to 1) Have clear visibility to data consistency, coherency and quality across multiple entities, 2) Act as the primary interaction between Finance and IT, in data related topics, 3) Ensure the proper functioning of data models, data lake, data warehouse and overall financial information, 4) Take action or generate proper alerts to escalate to owners/stakeholders when the information may not be accurate, 6) Provide proper support/solutions with a broad and deep knowledge on the data structures 7) Assist in the daily maintenance of data and contribute to the creation of a more efficient model by enhancing process efficiency and promoting data ownerships 8) Make immediate contributions as a key team player, and 9) Become a recognized and reliable resource for analysis by key members of the leadership team and across the company. Candidates should have some experience or background in the following skillsets: analytics, an acute attention to detail, and a desire for promotional opportunities directly related to personal performance. Also, you should feel comfortable collaborating with diverse teams, as you will partner with senior leadership, commercial management, product management, supply chain and other cross-functional team members to deliver decision-making support for key deliverables and business initiatives. The position will report to Corporate FP&A Director.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and assemble relevant information for analytics application (Data gathering)

  • Actively participated in data preparation as a power user, leveraging a keen eye and broad knowledge to ensure consistency, coherence, and quality of outcomes and sources.

  • Data mining and analysis: working with large data sets, turning them into actionable recommendations and high-impact business outcomes, you will also get to learn about a wide range of analytic methods.

  • Help create and analyze monthly and weekly reporting, including financial results, sales and spend analytics and forecasting activities.

  • Identify and short list opportunities, based on financial and data analysis, that can be developed into operational initiatives.

  • Help create financial models and scenarios as inputs for business planning decisions in areas such as capital investment, customer and product profitability and operational efficiencies.

  • Understand market dynamics and competitive landscape of organization; conduct analysis, synthesize and summarize implications to the business.

  • Support business partners during reporting, forecasting and annual budget cycles.

  • Analyze business and operational trends providing actionable levers to the business aiding in critical decision making to improve financial performance.

  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with team and internal customers.

  • Ability to deal effectively with dynamic change and support team along those lines.

  • Other ad-hoc analysis required by management.

Education and/or Experience;

  • BA/BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, or related field.

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in financial analysis, financial/strategic planning, reporting or FP&A.

  • Prior experience with financial reporting systems and visualization tools, such as Epicor, SAP, Host Analytics and Power BI a plus.

  • Developing analytical skills and the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable solutions and processes.

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines.

  • Ability to work without direct supervision, and efficiently manage tasks and time.

  • Hands on, deadline & detail oriented.

  • Team Player.

  • Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Outlook; stronger Microsoft Excel skills including pivot table, robust chart prep and data mining for large data sets; Power Pivot experience is a plus.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, and superlative listening skills.

  • Resilient and hands on – can handle volume and pace.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Prior experience in manufacturing industry is a plus

  • International business experience is a plus

  • Demonstration of innovation and initiative – always looking at improving our processes and displaying a willingness to dive into the details and help wherever necessary.

  • Keen attention to detail in planning, organization, and execution of tasks, while still maintaining focus on overall company objectives (“the big picture”).

  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.

  • Broad overall business acumen with proficient ability to talk with executives in business terms.

  • Advanced English level.
