RCM Technologies Scientist- Incoming QA-QC Analytical lab in United States

Contract Title or Role: Senior Scientist Location: Barceloneta, Puerto Rico, 100% face to face work Length of Contract: 6 months Company Description: Our client specializes in small molecule contract manufacturing, with capabilities like massing, granulation, direct compression, hot melt extrusion, bi-layer tablets, tablet coating, capsules, particle coating, and liquids. Position Description: Our client is looking for a highly motivated and results-oriented Senior Scientist to join our team in Barceloneta, Puerto Rico. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to either the Incoming Quality Assurance (IQA) Group or the Quality Control Analytical Laboratory (QCAL) through two distinct contract projects. I. Initial Qualification of the TruScan RM Handheld Raman Analyzer (IQA Group): In this project, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality of incoming materials by qualifying a new handheld Raman Analyzer. II. Programmed Calculations Project (Quality Control Analytical Laboratory): Here, you'll leverage your scientific knowledge and analytical skills to develop and validate custom calculations within Chromatography Data Systems (CDS) like Empower 3 and Data Management Systems (DMS) like Thermo Sample Manager. Responsibilities:

  • Write documents related to equipment qualification such as but not limited to "Equipment Qualification Protocols and Reports”

  • Executes Equipment Qualification Protocols

  • Performs Data Integrity Assessments

  • Write Operational Procedures

  • Write Test Methods

  • Investigates non- conformities events (Validation Investigation)

  • Defines CAPAS to avoid recurrences

  • Train Laboratory personnel on new instrument and test methods

    Qualifications:

  • Manages multiple priorities and comply with deadlines.

  • Demonstrates strong analytical skill

  • Experience performing Equipment Qualification – Analytical Instruments

  • Experience performing development/validation of custom fields/calculations for Chromatography Data System (example Empower 3) and Data Management (example Thermo Sample Manager)

  • Languages Spanish-English oral and written

    Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in science, Major in Chemistry with six (6) years of experience in related field.
