Sales Development Representative Location: Remote Duration: 6 months Description: (3-7 Year’s Experience) The main function of an account manager is to manage the operational service and support needs for Client member banks and associations in a help desk environment. Education/Experience: - High School Diploma or GED required - 3-7 years financial services related experience required; credit/debit card experience preferred Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: - Providing information and direction for customers regarding Client services, operating rules, integrated billing, and general authorization and chargeback transaction research - Approve the resolution of customers’ service or billing complaints by authorizing activities such as exchanging merchandise, refunding money, and adjusting bills - Act as escalation point for clients/customers - Approve the referral of unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation - Review, monitor and audit records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken - Obtain and examine all relevant information to assess validity of complaints and to determine possible causes - Solicit sale of new or additional services or products - Report on help desk activities to executive level management Skills: - Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service skills and interpersonal skills (Required) - Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time (Required) - Strong ability to accurately document and record customer/client information (Required) - Strong leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback (Typically required) - Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and PowerPoint (Required) Description: This role is pivotal to the success of the sales and marketing and ultimately driving a demand generation engine that contributes to the company’s bottom line. You will act as a key person linking marketing and sales to support top of the funnel sales for a given segment. You will work closely with your segment marketing manager and the segment sales consultants on a demand generation strategy that drives both inbound and outbound leads. This may include supporting more targeted account based campaigns to drive higher quality deals.Acting as a trusted advisor to the Sales teams and in close conjunction with the marketing segment managers, you will assist in sales enablement through pre-campaign research into leads and strategic research into future segments. To succeed in this role you’ll love executing a wide variety of tactics to drive leads and seek out quality prospects that contribute to the company’s revenue. The role holder will have the unique ability to understand the characteristics of a given segment, and be able to translate that into demand generation. This role reports into the Head of Marketing, North America based in New York. As this role is closely linked to sales, all role holders will have a senior sales leader as a career mentor, proving monthly mentorship.Role holders will be supported in their career development, and be able to choose a path either into sales or marketing. Demand Generation Strategy: - Working with your segment squad, but in particular your marketing segment manager and sales consultants, support the creation of a demand gen strategy that meets squad targets. - This may include researching prospects, target personas, and segment landscape to assist with lead scoring and more account based marketing. - The strategy should be defined by clear KPIs and a ROI. Specific campaigns that are built and delivered as part of your strategy should have trackable metrics and align with your overall strategic objectives. - You will contribute to data management within the team, and be a crucial part of the demand gen monthly meetings where we will review top of the funnel sales and how we are performing against targets. Demand Generation Delivery: - Delivery of holistic demand generation activity, both outbound lead generation as well as working alongside the marketing manager to support inbound lead generation. - This will include building prospect lists, managing data, building campaigns within lead gen tools (eg. Salesloft) and the execution of those campaigns. - It also includes any necessary follow up and qualification of leads as well as smooth handover to sales consultants. Segment Research: - As a member of your squad, you will endeavour to stay up to date on the industry and businesses within your segment. You will assist with any squad research into areas such as industry trends, latest developments, etc that will assist with developing sales and marketing strategies. - As segments and propositions become more clearly defined, you will assist in researching future segments for viability in terms of potential prospects.
