The Role

Do you have an outgoing personality and outstanding conversational skills? Join our team as Sales Development Coordinator, providing Service and Equipment Sales support through the creation and delivery of quotes to LS Customers identified from internal and external leads and requests. You will manage overflow quoting assistance for both Service and Equipment sales. Other responsibilities include following-up on outbound calls and emails to drive revenue and closure rate on all quotes delivered to Customers, including those created by the Inside Sales Team and documenting follow up in Sales Connection to track chance of closure and PO status for reporting purposes.

What You Will Do

  • Create service quotes from leads and internal/external Customer requests using Sales Connection and/or Siebel when appropriate.

  • Call Customers to discuss quotes prior to sending to ensure accuracy and identify other upsell opportunities as identified by Management and Service Marketing.

  • Perform follow up duties for all quotes sent, which includes calling/emailing Customers in order to drive the Customer PO submission process

  • Update quote status, notes, and confidence levels through Sales Connection and achieves 100% follow up compliance to assist with sales forecasting

  • Achieve booking and gross margin objectives according to plan/target

  • Quote Service Parts, that come in by request from Customer, Cust Service, ISR, TLGP or Billable Service, that comes in from Customer, TLGP, DSM, ISR

  • Manage leads in CRM to ensure opportunities are assigned to correct STERIS contact

What You Need To Be Successful

  • Bachelor’s degree is strongly desired, preferably in a business related field

  • Minimum of three years in Customer Service experience, Service business preferred

  • Minimum of three years Inside or Outside sales experience

  • Proven track record and demonstrated initiative in driving results

  • Strong focus on servicing each Customer, ensuring their expectations are met, providing solutions that meet their needs

  • Ability to successfully build rapport with both internal and external Customers

  • Solid work ethic, goal-driven, creative problem solver

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

  • Excellent Computer Skills
