Global Data Systems Revenue Assurance Specialist in United States
This position focuses on contract management day-to-day/month-to-month and its associated revenue. Additionally, focuses on reviewing field service tickets and assuring all factors and associated activities are accounted for so Global Data Systems can bill correctly and fully for all services due from customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
Responsible for working with Revenue Assurance Supervisor:
Accurately match field service tickets to customer invoice
Track ticket revenue from service boards
Assists with credit request, ticket management and circuit billing
Accurately track cost transfers for invoicing purposes
Review and correct or request correction of field service ticket information
Monitors, reconciles and works with vendor bills to assure GDS is charged correctly. Informs management of any discrepancies
Oversees all contract/agreements in accordance with written customer agreements and industry standards
Liaison with Sales Consultants, Operations, Finance, Customers and Vendors to assure that invoices are correct and all potential revenue is accounted for in the invoice
Develops and maintains a dispute management and escalation process for any billing disputes or related contract/agreement issues
Oversees the process of dispute resolution when billing errors are identified and tracking the error to complete resolution with the specified time period
Procurement of circuits as directed by PMO and Service Delivery, or authorized GDS personnel
Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field and 5+ years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of basic MS Excel spreadsheet software, basic Customer Relationship Management,(Connectwise, preferred)
Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel required
Must demonstrate the ability to problem solve
Capable of interacting at all levels of the organization both internally and externally
Must demonstrate basic typing skills used to input data and utilize Outlook and ConnectWise
May travel on very limited basis for training, company and client meetings or drop off contracts
