Southwire Job Description

We are currently seeking a results-driven Regional Sales Manager for our OEM Distribution Channel. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market share within a specified region for our wire and cable business. This role involves developing and implementing effective sales strategies and building strong relationships with OEM partners and distributors.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive growth and achieve sales targets in the OEM distribution channel within your region.

•Build and maintain strong relationships with key OEM partners and distributors, ensuring alignment with our business objectives and providing exceptional support.

•Monitor and analyze regional market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities and areas for improvement.

•Work closely with the marketing and product management teams to develop and execute go-to-market plans that support the regional sales strategy.

•Manage OEM agreements, contracts, and pricing structures within your region to optimize profitability and minimize risk.

•Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports, and continuously assess the performance of the OEM distribution channel within your region.

•Foster a collaborative and positive sales culture, promoting teamwork, innovation, and customer focus.

•Represent our company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings, promoting our brand and establishing new business relationships.

Education, Experience, and Skills

  • Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or Related Field

  • Years of Experience: 5+ Field of Expertise: OEM channels in the wire and cable industry or a related field

Other Preferred Skills, Licenses, & Certificates:

•Experience in the wire and cable manufacturing industry.

•Proven ability to manage key customer relationships and large contracts.

•Technical knowledge of wire and cable products and applications.

•Experience using CRM and sales analytics tools.

Reports To: Director, Regional Sales VP

Travel: Domestic

% of Time: Up to 50%

Workplace Setting: Remote (Ocassional travel to sites)
