We are seeking a basicREC Site Coordinator to lead and assist in the planning and implementation of our before and after school care and Summer Camp program at Indian Hollow Elementary School. Essential Functions

What You’ll Do:

Key Responsibilities

As a basicREC Site Coordinator, you will:

• Lead the development and execution of innovative recreation activities tailored for elementary and middle school aged children.

• Liaison between the parents/guardians and our part-time basicREC Program Assistant at the school site.

• Supervise and inspire part-time basicREC Program Assistant and activity participants to deliver top-notch experience to children and parents/guardians.

• Procure necessary materials, supplies, and snacks.

• Manage inventory and supplies for the school site, ensuring all materials are accounted for and well-maintained.

• Assist in budget planning and management to ensure programs are well-funded and sustainable.

Core Hours:

Before & After Care Program

6:15 AM - 8:45 AM and 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Two (2) days a week Office Hours: 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Summer Camp Program

6:30 AM - 6:00 PM

*Field trip, Pool day, and/or Playground day - Overtime required

Typical Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

• A High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

• Prior experience in childcare, early childhood recreational programs, Montessori, and/or related fields is required.

• Proficient in Microsoft suits: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide diverse groups.

• Independent decision-making capabilities, with the confidence to take initiative.

• Excellent communication, time management skills, and a mind for creativity.

• Must possess or be willing to obtain MAT certification within 6 months of employment.

• Must possess a valid Driver’s License with a minimum of two (2) years of driving experience.
