POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Vice President – Real Estate Operations, the Specialist - Real Estate Support is a valuable team member focused on the submission and approval of capital projects for the Outpatient Medical segment (OM) of Healthpeak’s property portfolio. Duties include but are not limited to:
Compile and submit the paperwork for capital projects to the Capital Asset Management team.
Review and analyze invoices related to capital and tenant improvement projects
Maintain and manage design costs
Assist in tracking and reporting costs related to capital and tenant improvement projects
Perform monthly activities relating to financial close
Maintain, organize, and update document database(s) as needed
Prepare required and/or necessary notices or documents to property managers or other company employees
Preparation of detailed reports to be submitted in a timely manner to relevant company employees upon request
Answer calls and emails from all internal and external clients in a timely and positive manner
Assist Real Estate Support team with special project assignments
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferred but not required
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with Yardi a plus
Experience in Multi-entity/multi-facility environment
Familiar with real estate, construction, or a related industry a plus
Detail-oriented with strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Ability to work some overtime
Team and goal-oriented with a curiosity to learn and develop new skills
