POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Vice President – Real Estate Operations, the Specialist - Real Estate Support is a valuable team member focused on the submission and approval of capital projects for the Outpatient Medical segment (OM) of Healthpeak’s property portfolio. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Compile and submit the paperwork for capital projects to the Capital Asset Management team.

  • Review and analyze invoices related to capital and tenant improvement projects

  • Maintain and manage design costs

  • Assist in tracking and reporting costs related to capital and tenant improvement projects

  • Perform monthly activities relating to financial close

  • Maintain, organize, and update document database(s) as needed

  • Prepare required and/or necessary notices or documents to property managers or other company employees

  • Preparation of detailed reports to be submitted in a timely manner to relevant company employees upon request

  • Answer calls and emails from all internal and external clients in a timely and positive manner

  • Assist Real Estate Support team with special project assignments

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferred but not required

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Experience with Yardi a plus

  • Experience in Multi-entity/multi-facility environment

  • Familiar with real estate, construction, or a related industry a plus

  • Detail-oriented with strong written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently

  • Ability to work some overtime

  • Team and goal-oriented with a curiosity to learn and develop new skills
