ICONMA, LLC Quality Engineering Technician II in United States
Our Client, a Materials Engineering company, is looking for a Quality Engineering Technician II for their Austin, TX location. Responsibilities:
Inspect electro-mechanical assemblies to documented requirements
Document any violations to Workmanship Standards or inspection criteria
Verify correction of any violations or defects prior to the shipment of the module
Maintain proper documentation of the inspections, corrections, and quality notifications
Train new or junior technicians to perform critical to quality tasks
Implement containment actions within the production line to ensure outgoing product does not contain defective material.
Assist with identifying projects to prevent discrepant material leading to scrap or rework
Be a Voice of Quality on the production line
Requirements
Able to navigate SAP, Excel, and other Microsoft applications.
Familiarity with production processes
Familiarity with Quality tools and techniques
Able to generate written lists and accurately communicate ideas/circumstances to others.
Understands the importance of delivering product which meets customer expectations.
May provide informal guidance and support to more other team members
Be a self-starter using general guidance to achieve results.
Provides solutions to problems in situations that are atypical or infrequently occurring based on existing precedents or procedures
Impacts the quality of own work and its contribution to the team
Individuals are not satisfied with existing protocols but is interested in making them more effective and efficient
Uses communication skills to regularly provide information to coworkers and managerial personnel
This position requires an individual
Familiar with the assembly and test of electro-mechanical systems.
Detail oriented and has patience to go through a complex assembly looking for defects.
Able to communicate with individual contributors as well as supervisors and managers concerning defects on the mechanical systems.
This position primarily is responsible for the inspection of electro-mechanical assemblies to verify they meet designated inspection criteria and workmanship standards.
If the assemblies are found with defects, the defects are to be reported and followed up on to ensure they have been corrected prior to module ship.
