ASRC Federal Agile Decision Sciences (ADS) is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration and project management services for real-time, mission-critical defense systems. We are seeking highly motivated Program Logistics Analyst . This position requires the candidate to have a  Secret clearance . The program Logistics Analyst will support theAir Force Wideband Enterprise Terminals (AFWET) Program Office by providing crucial program analytics and expert assessment on terminal and ancillary equipment sustainment focusing on facets of equipment life cycle management. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Department of Defense (DoD) acquisitions, budget analysis, contract execution, equipment procurement, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and/or Technical Orders, asset management, and equipment reliability management.

This is a full remote work position that requires frequent CONUS and OCONUS travel . Travel projected at up to 25% of total time. Most trips begin and end within the standard work week, but some weekend work may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Interface regularly with USAF and/or USSF SATCOM Operators and Maintainers, along with organizational leads and/or MET stakeholders to ensure logistical and programmatic best practices are executed.

  • Creates documentation and present briefings on the Program Office’s logistics and training management process.

  • Interface with Program Manager, project managers, finance and engineering functionals, external Government Agencies, deployed Combatant Commands, AF Major Commands (MAJCOMs), AF and Army Engineering & Installation teams, and local site personnel.

  • Manage and execute material procurement to include contracting documentation as required.

  • Ensure technical manuals, training products, spare assets, provisioning data, etc. are correct and fielded with all implementation and sustainment activities.

  • Support development of all training curriculum and manage MET and baseband sustainment training execution to include student travel management

  • Align external depot, engineering, and installation assets to identify and correct logistical or sustainment issues.

  • Perform on-site equipment inventory and Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) account reconciliation.

  • Drafting Performance Work Statements, Statements of Work, and/or Statements of Objective.

  • Coordinate fielding and sustainment project execution with USAF and USSF site personnel.

  • Develop and present technical or programmatic analysis, white papers, and informational briefs.

  • Provide cost estimates on all training exercises executed annually and sustainment training student travel to be included in annual funding Program Objective Memorandum (POM).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field

  • Active Secret Security Clearance

  • 5 years of relevant DoD experience in programmatic or logistics support working with technical equipment procurement.

  • Must possess in-depth knowledge of United States Air Force (USAF) program execution and knowledge of DoD organizations, policies, procedures, and regulations.

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills, a positive attitude, ability to work well with others, and flexibility to changing workloads.

  • Must be an expert multi-tasker with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision on numerous tasks concurrently

  • Possess significant self-initiative to identify and resolve problems as they emerge and improve processes to minimize issues and costs (time, manpower, and funds).

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in data management or DoD accountability systems

  • USAF or United States Space Force (USSF) Acquisition Program Management Office (PMO) experience

  • Experience in and technical knowledge of satellite communications and/or radio frequency is highly desired
