What we want

The Program Aide is responsible for data analysis for at least one of federal grant sponsored research projects of the Southwest Rural Health Research Center. This position performs data cleaning, deductive coding, data analysis, and conducting literature reviews. You will support the grant team in writing the background, methods, and results sections of the required deliverables for this project.

What you need to know

Salary: Compensation will be commensurate to the selected hire’s experience.

Please note: This position is grant funded; future employment may be contingent upon future funding.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree

  • Experience with quantitative data analysis, be competent in using STATA and Covidence software programs

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to work independently

    Responsibilities:

    Data Preparation

  • Prepares data for analysis (e.g. coding, cleaning)

    Quantitative Analysis

  • Analyzes prepared data and summarize findings

    Presentation

  • Prepares tables and graphs of findings; prepare the Background, Methods and Results sections of required project deliverables

  • Performs other duties as deemed necessary to complete the project
