About the role

We are looking for a Production Team Member for our Spence Doors business based in Cheltenham VIC.

Key Accountabilities / Primary Responsibilities

• Construction of Fire Doors and other specialised Doors

• General jobbing work fitting special hardware.

• Read and understand workshop drawings.

• Identify different material types and thicknesses.

• Conduct quality control checks on own Work.

• Complete required paperwork and meet daily targets.

• Adherence to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)

  Technical Skills

• Tradesperson or equivalent work experience

• Work within tolerance; ensure quality in the product.

• Maintaining production levels as required.

• Sound written and verbal communication skills.

• Comply with standards and procedures of Spence Doors following WHS guidelines.

• Ability and willingness to follow direction as well as the ability to work independently.

• Must be able to read a tape measure, pressure gauge, level and square.

• Complete assigned work within given timeframe and according to specification.

• Must be able to operate sheet metal machinery and welding equipment.

• Report all defective parts and materials to Team Leader.
