Partner with the best
As a Pr. Product Manager, you will lead the development/execution of integrated growth strategies across multiple product portfolios. To do this, you will drive strategic planning initiatives and identify opportunities for value creation/business expansion. You will be a critical contributor to the comprehensive cross product portfolio strategy, evolution, and advocacy.
As a Principal Product Manager, you will be responsible for:
Developing/implementing comprehensive growth strategies across diverse business portfolios, ensuring alignment with overall corporate objectives and market opportunities
Leading the Application and API protection portfolio strategic planning processes
Focusing on developing long term AI security strategy and product portfolio evolution including GTM
Collaborating with cross-functional teams while working closely with marketing/sales/executive leadership creating alignment on market positioning
Developing strategic messaging architecture and storytelling for Application Security portfolio including securing AI and AI for security.
Building relationships with industry analysts to communicate our product vision/differentiation, gather market feedback, and influence broader market perceptions
Defining and monitoring metrics that measure portfolio performance and market impact by collaborating with departments across Akamai
Designing/implementing frameworks for evaluating new business opportunities, including market entry strategies, M&A targets, and strategic partnerships
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
Have 15 years of relevant experience in strategy/product management/GTM/business development and a bachelors degree
Have a proven track record of developing and implementing successful growth strategies
Possess exceptional financial modeling and analytical capabilities
Demonstrate excellence in stakeholder management and executive communication
Have a deep understanding of multiple industries and business models
Have experience in portfolio management and resource optimization

Compensation
Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary for this position ranges from $145,300 - $301,700/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
