  • Develop, lead, and enforce best practices and solutions for applications utilizing CI/CD and the Public Cloud

  • Drive a DevOps mindset within the organization

  • Analyze and enhance existing CI solutions to enable the automation of configuration management of all development, quality assurance, and production servers.

  • Collaborate with multiple teams across Deltek working on modernizing software and service delivery in a fast-paced, complex environment

  • Partner with key associates (e.g. Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects, Project Managers, Business Analysts, Infrastructure Engineers, and Solution Delivery Managers) for end-to-end solution delivery in adherence to industry best practices.

  • Ensure all designs leverage common architectures and services that can meet key design criteria (Availability, Recoverability, Scalability, Performance characteristics) and can be properly supported by Deltek support and operations teams

  • Partner with Senior Leaders across Cloud and Engineering to refine CI/CD and DevOps strategy and technical roadmap by working with senior technical leaders within the DevOps organization.

  • Work closely with the security team and defined processes and procedures to ensure adherence to the highest standards

Work Location:US RemoteQualifications:

  • BS in Computer Science, IT, Business or equivalent

  • Deep understanding of cloud providers, preferably AWS and Azure

  • The ideal candidate will have 15-20 years of related experience implementing full CI/CD solutions in Public and Private Cloud Platforms

  • Significant experience working with multiple development languages such as Java, C/C++, Python, PHP, or .NET

  • Firsthand experience in application deployment, troubleshooting, and support for highly secure, large and complex applications and platforms

  • Thorough understanding of enterprise software development and infrastructure processes and lifecycle with the ability to adjust and apply this knowledge in a dynamic environment using agile or similar methodologies

  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills are necessary due to the dynamic nature of position, interaction with customers, vendors, and other engineering teams in solving complex system problems together

  • Leverage technical leadership ability to foster a culture of collaboration to drive innovation and promote cloud best practices across highly skilled teams

  • Demonstrated leadership skills working with geographically diverse teams

  • Strong attention to detail is required to ensure effective planning, implementation, and execution

This range is subject to change as Deltek takes a number of factors into consideration when determining individual base pay, such as location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including incentive compensation and equity.
