Responsibilities

To assist director, supervisor in the organization and daily function of the Infusion Center in accordance with established federal, state, and accreditation standards, regulations and Center policies and procedures. To assist the Hematology Oncology Providers and Nurse Supervisor in overseeing patient care activities in the Infusion Center. To maintain high standard of safety for the patient and staff members. Patient liaison for care rendered. Monitor stock levels, outdated supplies and equipment needs and report to Nurse Supervisor/Clinic Administrator

Salary Range: $50.99 – $51.01 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)

Qualifications

Education

Required: RN required education

Preferred: BSN preferred

Experience

Required: 3 years RN experience in an Infusion/Chemo setting

Preferred: Ambulatory Infusion Center setting

License(s)

Required: RN, CPR, (ALS or willing to obtain

Preferred: Oncology Certified Nurse certificate required or willing to obtain certification within 12 months of

employment

Special Skills

Required: Basic computer skills

Preferred: N/A

Other

Required: Clear communication skills

Minimum 8 shifts per month

4 shifts per year before or after clinic holidays, with 2 shifts related to a summer holiday and 2 shifts related to

a winter holiday or as needed based on department needs.
