King's Seafood Company Payroll Specialist in United States
King's Seafood Company has continued to see our restaurants get busier and busier, with new restaurant openings on the way and increasing guest counts, we are hiring for our Payroll team. The Payroll Specialist is a key Crewmember who is responsible for producing payroll for anywhere between 4-10 restaurants. You will also support functional areas of the Human Resources department focusing on payroll as your specialty.

Responsibilities
Payroll on a bi-weekly basis - Includes but not limited to checking manual checks, writing termination checks, 1-9 audits and compliance, inputting any new hire information and garnishments.
Ultimately will be responsible for up to 1100 crewmembers using Ceridian
Running reports through payroll systems (Ceridian) and internal systems for any payroll related projects in your area or for the company in general
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Correspond with crewmembers with regard to their payroll questions using Dayforce
Compile payroll data such as hours, garnishments, vacation time, insurance and 401K deductions
Work closely with bookkeepers to ensure payroll is successful each pay period
Journal entries and accruals and understanding of General Ledger
Data entry and Filing
Requirements
Expert level Excel skills
Ceridian-Dayforce Experience (at least 2 years)
A Bachelor Degree preferred
1-4 years of relevant experience and / or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Solid understanding of payroll and payroll tax laws
Strong oral and written communication
Strong time management skills
Excellent attention to detail
Work well in a team environment
Great follow up and follow through
