JEVS Human Services Manager of TANF Program Services in United States

This role, located in our CareerLink office in Center City Philadelphia. This role will be on-site 5 days per week. This position is full time, 35 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a working knowledge of TANF and the PA Department of Human Services regulations.

  • Ensure effective, accurate and coordinated communications with County Assistance Office personnel.

  • Network and establish working relationships with appropriate personnel at the County Assistance Offices, Community Agencies, Mental Health and Drug and Alcohol Organizations and other agencies as needed.

  • Provide direct services to WIA Intensive Training customers when needed to ensure prompt and effective services (including temporary caseload, when applicable).

  • Ensure and monitor Team’s compliance with program-specific regulations and requirements and provide ongoing coaching to improve the teams individual and collective performance

  • Meet with Philadelphia CAO for reconciliation and case conferencing purposes. Become familiar with all TANF/DHS regulations affecting EARN participants.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • 3 years supervisory experience preferred

  • Experience working with and placing hard to serve populations

  • Proficient in MS Office applications

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required

The base pay for this position ranges from $51,000 to $62,000 and will vary based on factors such as skills and experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
