Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Manager-Accounts to join our Accounts & Finance team. The Manager-Accounts will oversee and manage the financial reporting, budgeting, and accounting functions of the company. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical accounting expertise, and the ability to ensure compliance with Indian accounting standards and regulatory requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.

  • Prepare and review financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements in compliance with Ind AS (Indian Accounting Standards).

  • Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance on accounting principles and procedures.

  • Oversee monthly payroll and benefits.

  • Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements including Transfer Pricing, GST, TDS, and income tax filings.

  • Perform variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance to support strategic decision-making.

  • Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure internal controls and adherence to regulatory guidelines.

  • Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits, addressing audit findings and implementing corrective actions.

  • Manage treasury functions including cash flow management, banking relationships, and foreign exchange transactions.

  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, monitoring budgetary performance and analyzing variances.

Qualifications:

  • M.Com/MBA in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CA (Chartered Accountant) qualification preferred.

  • Proven work experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role, with at least 10 – 12 years of experience in financial reporting and accounting.

  • Thorough knowledge of Indian accounting standards (Ind AS), tax regulations, and compliance requirements.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g. Tally, etc.)

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations.

  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and lead a team effectively.

· Advanced proficiency in MS Excel for financial analysis, reporting, and modeling

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience in IT services, etc. is advantageous.

· Familiarity with consolidation processes and multinational accounting practices.

· Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and present financial information to senior management.
