Healthfirst Mail Operations Clerk in United States

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Meet departmental goals regarding productivity, quality, timeliness and accuracy to meet SLAs.

  • Complete work per policies and job aids.

  • Provide a high level of customer service.

  • Perform quality checks on letters to make sure the letters are accurate in terms of address placement, missing addresses and relabel the letters as needed.

  • Process printing and mailing for print jobs in addition to Ad-Hoc manual mailings for various departments.

  • Route and distribute incoming and returned mail.

  • Ship & receive parcels

  • Work with third party vendors to manage incoming and outgoing correspondence.

  • Reach out to the appropriate individuals as necessary to resolve discrepancies.

  • Identify and recommend process improvements.

  • Comply with HIPAA guidelines and maintain confidentiality of member, provider, and departmental information. Adhere to state and federal compliance and regulatory guidelines.

  • Perform additional duties as needed or assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.

  • This role requires working both Saturday and Sunday, from 10 am to 5 pm. and 3 weekdays from either 8am-5pm, 9am-6pm or 10am-7pm.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Work experience requiring attention to detail performing quality checks and proofreading.

  • Work experience requiring prioritization and follow through on assigned tasks.

  • Experience troubleshooting or explaining basic Printing hardware and software errors and work with a Technician remotely to perform step-by-step repairs.

  • MicrosoftExcel experience including edit, search, sort/filter, format using pivot tables to locate information.

  • Data entry experience with Microsoft Excel and other database systems/ applications.

  • Work experience in a healthcare environment.
