ModMed (https://www.modmed.com/company/) is hiring a driven Lead Patient Services Specialist who will play a pivotal role in shaping a positive patient experience within our passionate, high-performing Revenue Cycle Management team. As a critical team member, you will monitor the team's operational metrics to understand potential call drivers and business and client opportunities.

Your Role:

  • Analyze departmental processes and recommend resolutions based on metrics, trends, and reporting.

  • Complete data analysis on quality assurance results, including agents and survey scores, key performance metrics, logical thinking

  • Identify opportunities for areas of department improvements, research client escalations, creativity, and communication of trends

  • Serve as a point of contact to ensure internal teams' daily workflow processes are completed and supported and provide a strong floor presence

  • Serve as an escalation point for inbound and outbound patient calls regarding patient balance inquiries, claims processing, insurance updates, and payment collections

  • Review training curriculum for ways to improve, enhance, and evaluate the onboarding process of the new hire and existing team members.

  • Lead and support special projects related to client escalations to promote and enhance our customer/patient-facing activities

    Skills & Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required

  • Ability to work 3 days per week in the Boca Raton, FL headquarters

  • 4 years of previous healthcare administration, medical claims/billing or related experience required

  • 2 years experience in a contact center workforce admin support required;

  • 1 year of experience in reporting and data analysis

  • Strong understanding of medical billing claims submission process and working with insurance carriers required (e.g., Medicare, private HMOs, PPOs))

  • Proficient knowledge of business software applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an emphasis on the ability to work effectively over the telephone

  • Ability to remain calm in a demanding call center environment

  • Professional demeanor required
