Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer. Responsibilities You will resolve customer issues by initiating follow-up on outstanding actions. You will use a financial management system to amend data. You will analyze financial data to identify transaction errors. You will conduct research to resolve financial or informational discrepancies. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing auditing services for pay transactions in accordance with procedures and provisions of statutes, precedent decisions, regulations, and policies; 2) Maintaining and reconciling accounts, in addition to preparing and analyzing reports; 3) Maintaining pay accounts and determining/authorizing entitlements; and 4) Examining documents for accuracy and compliance with regulations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education Additional Information This announcement uses the Certain Personnel of the DoD/Modified Direct Hire Authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to certain positions in the competitive service. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled.
