As a SSE for Progress 4GL Developer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing our technological landscape. Leveraging your expertise in Progress 4GL, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining efficient and scalable applications that meet the evolving needs of our organization.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Work closely with other developers, architects, and stakeholders to understand requirements, contribute to technical discussions, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

· Proficiently manage and optimize databases to support application functionality, ensuring data integrity and security.

· Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain code quality standards, identify opportunities for optimization, and implement improvements to enhance overall system performance

· Should be a go-getter, understanding of business domain.

· Should have hands on experience with release process.

Education, Experience, and Requirements

· B.Tech/BE with 3-7 years of hands-on experience in Progress 4GL(OpenEdge

· Have Basic knowledge of JAVA, UNIX and Webspeed Concepts

· Good experience in creating APIs (REST/SOAP)

· Exposure to progress 12.2+ is an added advantage

· Client Server application experience

· Experience in SVN or any repository

· Exposure to Agile frameworks (scrum)

· A proactive approach to problem-solving, taking ownership of issues and having the determination to follow things through Prioritization and time
