Overview
The IT Systems Administrator-Associate will be responsible for assisting with the operational support of PBD’s enterprise technology systems. This will include providing first-level support for the core application platforms including third party software applications. This position will perform duties and responsibilities to ensure the system's availability and integrity while actively and consistently supporting all efforts to enhance the customer experience.
Qualifications
Associates degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred. An additional two (2) years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
One (1) year of experience in supporting computer systems and IT troubleshooting required.
Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming.
Experience with both relational and non-relational database management such as SQL.
Familiarity with ITIL standards and IT Security compliance standards and practices.
Ability to define problems, identify solutions, and follow through to completion.
Ability to work outside of core business hours which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to be empathetic, compassionate, responsive, resourceful, and conscientious.
Essential Accountabilities
Perform daily monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of PBD Core systems.
Verify completion of scheduled jobs such as backups, restores, patches, and automating recurring tasks.
Analyze and monitor technology incidents until final resolution. This will require collaboration with key IT partners when necessary to resolve.
Develop, modify, and support batch extracts and APIs and write custom programs using various programming languages.
Support IT upgrades, enhancements, new functionality, capacities, performance, cost-effectiveness, and business integrations.
Utilize procedures and standards to ensure operational consistency and update documentation as required.
Maintain records on repairs, downtime, and configuration changes.
Administer server operating systems including performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance.
Assist with disaster recovery and business continuity support.
Maintain service level agreements and measurements.

Hiring Compensation Range: $30 - $35 hourly
Compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to skills, education, location and experience.
In addition to base compensation, associates may be eligible for a scorecard incentive, full range of benefits and generous paid time off. The base salary range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
