Schedule: Monday - Friday (Remote)8:00 AM - 4:30 PM MST (On-call based on business need)
Department: IT Support Services - 214
Primary Purpose:
Responsible for the management of specific assigned applications such as Kofax and Point of Business (POB) that are used across multiple corporate groups. Provide full assistance to users, troubleshoot all issues, and customize application to function as required for corporate use and support. Provides an analytical view of the presented problems and offers solutions that can then be implemented into the applications that fit the need. Experience with IT Service Management processes a definite plus.

Essential Functions:
Provide tier 1 & tier 2 (mid-level) support and guidance related to the corporate applications that are assigned.
Administer the design, development and deployment of various customizations to applications that administrator is assigned, using defined ARUP IT processes for definition, approval, setup, testing, documentation, communication, deployment and support.
Work and collaborate with various departments in the creation of functional requirements for workflows and customizations to environments of responsibility.
Provide tier 1 & tier 2 level support as needed to users and site level administrators in areas of responsibility.
Design and develop custom applications and solutions as required for specific business needs.
Provide backup to other Application Administrators to insure high level coverage of activity, upgrades and absences.
Provide front-line support material to groups that require it to accomplish job tasks.
Work closely with departments and IFL to provide basic training and support material for those areas of responsibility as needed.
Responsible for daily and weekly system checks for those applications and services that are covered by area of responsibility.
Build and document best practices and contribute to the development of new and innovative solutions for their designated area(s) of expertise.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities under constant deadlines and in potentially stressful environments /situations.

Physical and Other Requirements:
Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist.
Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
Mobility: The person in this position needs to occasionally move between work sites and inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Communicate: Strong communication skills (written and verbal) including ability to communicate technical concepts to people of varying levels of technical competency.
PPE: Biohazard laboratory environment that requires use of personal protective equipment in accordance with CDC and OSHA regulations and company policies.
ARUP Policies and Procedures: To conduct self in compliance with all ARUP Policies and Procedures.
Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Fine Motor Control: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand as in handling.
Vision: Having close, far, and peripheral visual acuity to perform a variety of tasks such as make general observations of depth and distance.
Flexibility: Ability to work from home or from the office as needed.
Qualifications
Education
Required
- High School Diploma or Equivalent or better
Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree or better in Information Systems
Experience
Required
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (IT)
Or high school diploma and three (3) years of applicable administration experience
Or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred
Four (4) years of collective exposure to Microsoft Office, Active Directory & SQL Management Studio
Certifications related to supported tools
Exposure to application design
Exposure/participation in product upgrades, patching and application migrations
