SUMMARY

This is an opportunity to experience a corporate culture that values integrity, innovation and teamwork. We are seeking an Human Resources (“HR”) Intern. The position will be based in Louisville, KY.

The HR Intern is based within the Human Resources department with a diverse range of generalist administrative support for approximately 16-30 hours a week (depending on availability).

We are seeking a student who is available to work year-round with the intention to commit to the internship for a minimum of 6 months with the ability to work up to full time in the summer months, if their schedule allows. We are very flexible though, and hours of availability can vary. An ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, good attention to detail, initiative, and an educational background in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, Psychology or a related field of study. But most importantly, we want someone with an inquisitive mind, positive attitude, and willingness to help us continue to improve our processes and service to the organization!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Onboarding and recruiting tasks such as tracking candidates’ status, scheduling orientation

  • Provide basic system guidance to employees and managers; direct to available resources.

  • Assist HR team with invoice processing, filing, status updates, auditing, run reports in systems as needed.

  • Work with stakeholders for job postings, candidate scheduling, and overall recruitment procedures as assigned.

  • Work with the Marketing team for newsletter announcements, blog posts and other HR communication.

  • Offboarding assistance with Exit Interview scheduling, send/collect exit surveys.

  • Other duties as assigned.

    MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • High commitment to company values and integrity, required .

  • At least a Sophomore year standing, required.

  • Business, Human Resources, Psychology or related majors, preferred .

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA, preferred.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to organize and successfully multitask.

  • Must maintain a high level of confidentiality.

  • Must demonstrate excellent analytical skills, keen attention to detail, and strong pursuit of accuracy.

  • Proficient with technology (GoogleSuite preferred )

  • Provide excellent customer service internally and externally.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • This position will be a combination of remote work-from-home and working in our Louisville, KY Corporate office.
