Histotechnologist – DH Location: Salisbury, MD Duration: Fulltime Description: The Histotechnologist prepares tissue and body fluid specimens sent for microscopic examination and diagnosis by a pathologist, performing any special staining techniques and /or immunoperoxidase techniques requested by the pathologist. He/She performs appropriate clerical and computer applications necessary to process ant charge these specimens The Histotechnologist participates in educational and training activities and may participate in routine administrative and non-routine technical functions. Requirements Successful completion of an approved program of Histology Technology (A.A.) degree plus demonstrated technical proficiency resulting form certification by an accepted agency.
