We’re looking for a Gas / Power Product & Applications Technical Specialist based in Europe.

The successful candidate will ensure the integration of products into the European business by delivering highly specialised technical support. This is a role that will involve extensive travel.

What you’ll do:

Technical Support and Customer Excellence:

• Deliver expert technical support for Gas Power Generation products.

• Provide comprehensive support for all Aggreko equipment, including Diesel products, Stage V units, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

• Conduct thorough testing, validation, and documentation of solutions.

• Enhance customer experience by addressing technical inquiries and providing on-site troubleshooting.

• Support the design and delivery of training solutions and assess technical competencies.

• Collaborate with OEMs to develop and refine maintenance and repair processes.

Product Development and Life-Cycle Management:

• Accelerate product utilisation and performance.

• Support the development and validation of gas infrastructure and ensure regulatory compliance.

• Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering teams for product performance improvements.

• Champion hybridisation and integration of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

Collaboration and Project Implementation:

• Provide technical solutions and support for on-site project implementation and commissioning.

• Work closely with sales technicians and management to ensure successful project execution.

• Promote new market opportunities by validating applications for non-standard fuels and co-generation projects.

You’ll have the following skills and experience:

• Exceptional technical proficiency in power products, with a focus on Jenbacher Gas Generators.

• Experience with Cummins Gas Engines, Stage V products, and BESS is advantageous.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.
