Liberty Latin America Fixed Assets Senior Analyst in United States
What's the role?
Responsible of coordinating and ensuring that the day-to-day Fixed Asset & Financial functions located in the Columbia Operations Center are carried out. Maintain efficiency, integrity and control of the asset accounting process. Become a super user for the new global LLA ERP system and assist with the implementation of the new system. Instrumental in identifying process automation opportunities, works closely and will partner with all levels of the business to deliver high quality accounting and reporting services and analysis to business units.
How would you add value?
Coordinate and support the achievement of operations accounting goals and objectives, including analysis of operations related FA topics and support of local finance teams in identifying and concluding on operational accounting issues.
Partner and coordinate with the Technical Accounting Group and local accounting teams with respect to the application of worldwide FA policy requirements and procedures.
Conduct review and approval of FA account reconciliations and financial reporting and analysis completed by the Fixed asset accounting staff.
Ensure FA accounting controls are followed in connection with defined SOX requirements.
Provide and coordinate project accounting governance over significant projects.
Overall integrity Fixed Asset sub-ledger, Project Accounting and US lease accounting.
Support Key projects across the Fixed Asset area when required, in conjunction with other teams, including testing and implementation of ongoing process improvements.
Manage preparation of variance analysis to support month, quarter and year close requirements.
Ensure accurate reporting of fixed asset data in HFM.
Automate the population of transaction type data in the general ledger from the fixed asset register system to increase efficiency in HFM reporting.
Lead special projects as required, such as: acquisitions / divestitures, accounting systems upgrades and audit related activities.
What do you need?
Professional in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
3 years of experience in Fixed Assets.
CRM proficiency, SAP knowledge is desirable.
Proficiency in Office 365.
Advanced level of English.
Advanced level of Spanish.
