The Quanta Internship Program offers the unique opportunity to work on the largest utility infrastructure projects across America; these projects are modernizing and developing the grid to be able to handle everything from 5G buildout to the boom in electric vehicles.

What You'll Do
As an Environmental Intern, you will work alongside our Environmental and Project teams to support various projects across North America. This role is designed for students or recent graduates interested in pursuing a career in environmental science, sustainability, or regulatory compliance.
ESSENTIAL JOB SKILLS/DUTIES:
Assist in conducting environmental site assessments and fieldwork to collect samples, record data, and document site conditions.
Support the preparation of environmental reports, impact assessments, and permit applications in compliance with federal, state/provincial, and local regulations.
Analyze environmental data and develop maps, charts, and presentations using tools like GIS and other software.
Conduct research on environmental regulations, policies, and best practices.
Collaborate with the Environmental team to ensure projects align with sustainability goals and regulatory requirements.
Participate in team meetings, project planning, and client updates.
Support the development of environmental risk assessments and mitigation plans.
Perform other duties as assigned to contribute to the success of the Environmental team.
What You'll Bring
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Biology, Sustainability, or a related field.
< 1 Year
Familiarity with environmental regulations and standards (e.g., NEPA, CEQA, local permitting processes) is a plus.
Experience with GIS software or other data analysis tools is preferred.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Enthusiastic about sustainability, environmental conservation, and renewable energy projects.
