THE OPPORTUNITY

The Director of Sales, Latin America, works with and directly reports to the Senior Director of International Sales and Business Development. The successful individual in this role works directly with the International Sales team and actively participates in all aspects of the sales cycle for both existing and emerging markets/channels. This position is eligible for 100% remote work depending on location.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage all sales activities for responsible market areas.

  • Cultivate and secure strong relationships with business partners and customers.

  • Identify new market segments and opportunities that are built on the company’s core MIMO solutions.

  • Responsible for all stages of customer interactions from initial contact, through final sales and follow-up.

  • Travel Requirements: up to 75% of the time supporting customer meetings, demonstrations, and trade shows.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college; OR High School Diploma/GED with at least 5 years of relevant sales or business development experience in a technology related field.

  • Demonstrated success in the sale of MANET/wireless or radio solutions.

  • Proven track record of working in Military and/or Public Safety Technology Sales.

  • Strong communication skills; fluent in both English and Spanish languages.

  • NOTE – Must be a US Person (US Citizenship or Permanent Resident Green Card status required).

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.

  • Working understanding of alternative MANET technologies and their relative strengths.

  • Strong technical acumen and understanding of tactical communications challenges and solutions.

  • Leadership, management, and program management experience.

  • Fluency in the Portuguese language a plus.

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Office environment.

  • Trade shows.

  • Outdoor environment for demonstrations.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to do the following:

  • Lift equipment up to 20 lbs. for set up of demonstration and testing.

  • Manage the movement of large suitcase size Pelican cases (i.e. travel, demonstrations, etc.).

COMPENSATION

The pay range is NOT a guarantee. It is based on market research and peer data, and will vary depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

US Pay Range

$100,000—$180,000 USD
