Overall Responsibilities: The Sorter Assembly Technician is responsible for the build out and maintenance of specialized mosquito sorting robots. Top 3 Daily Responsibilities: Assemble and troubleshoot robot systems with mechanical, electrical and pneumatic components. Manage and account for small quantities of building materials. Perform robot maintenance tasks when mechanical failures happen and proactively mitigate future risk. Mandatory Skills/Qualifications: Experience doing assembly, maintenance, inventory, and operating equipment. Ability to follow diagrams and work instructions. Experience in general machine assembly and understanding of common hand tools. Data entry of faults and failures into tracking documentation. Ability to show attention to detail and call out irregularities in component construction. Non-Essential Skills/Qualifications: (Skills that would be nice to have but are not essential in the role) Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions with mechanical and electrical components. Computer and controller operation skills, able to operate an automation dashboard. Inventory tracking and management experience.
